Ramos & Bassols

Ramos & Bassols was founded in 2004 by David Ramos Tarrés (born in Terrassa, 1969) and Jordi Bassols Borrell (born in Barcelona, ​​1976). They started working together in 1998 .   Having worked in product design and development for many years, his writings and product types have varied widely: home furnishings, objects (bespoke and off-the-peg), lighting, and street furniture.   They have worked with different companies: Alis, Concepta, Dab, Dae, Do + Ce, Franch Sillería, Hes Hazemeyer, Montgatina, PORVASAL, Sancal, Tramo, Urbes 21, Vilagrasa, Vibia .   They have received numerous awards: 6 product of choice ADI-FAD First Prize at the 2002 Madrid Furniture Fair, for the Norwegian armchair. First Prize in the Manacor Design Contest, 2005 for the Up & Down table. Accolade in the street furniture of traditional cities competition, Alaba 2005, the Tempo series. Hospitality product design award 2010 Alfa series. 2010 Alpha Series International Interior Design Association Award Award. 2 products selected for the 2010 Delta Awards.   They are currently being taught at the Superior School of Design of Sabadell, ESDI.
