The Guns Gun Table lamp was designed in 2005, is part of the very moving collection of Guns by Philippe Starck. 20% of the collection of weapons sales is donated to Frères des Hommes, a charitable organization dedicated to the abolition of poverty around the world. The body of the table lamp is made of aluminium die-cast with a coating of polymer over-molded. It is available in a combination of polished 18-karat gold with a matte black shadow and a silkscreen of gold on the inside or chrome finish with a white shade and screen printing of silver on the inside. The screen is made of laminated paper. This Philippe Starck table lamp uses a halogen bulb medium ice cream provides direct reading and ambient light.

The inspiration behind the design: Phillipe Starck said "why not furniture show that everything is a political option? I am a designer and design is my only weapon, so I use it to talk about what I think it is important." Also explains: "the gold of weapons represents the collusion of money and war.
