Secto Design and designer Seppo Koho met in 1995, when Tuula Jusélius was looking for a designer for his new company, whose first products were innovative blades wood furniture. The first time Tuula Jusélius and Seppo Koho newly graduated design architect met knew that they were soul mates: the two share a respect for the wood of the North, as well as the clear Scandinavian design and professional carpentry.
Customers who bought furniture of the company complained of not finding suitable lamps to go with furniture. Tuula Jusélius noticed it: there was simply no lamps of wood on the market. Thus Seppo Koho received a Commission. The result was Secto pendant lamp that remains the backbone of the collection.
