Giancarlo Fassin

Giancarlo Fassina was born in Milan, Italy, and obtained a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan. Giancarlo Fassina was one of the leading figures in Italian avant-garde design of the 1970s and 1980s associated with the anti-Design movement, Radical. His most famous design is that of the Tolomeo lamp which he designed in collaboration with Michele De Lucchi for Artemide .
