Born in Milan in 1945, he graduated from the Polytechnic School in 1969. After a professional written study by Nizzoli Associati, he collaborated with "Casabella", directed by Mendini 1971-1975, and from 1977 he became editor-in-chief of "Mode " then director from 1981 to 1983. After the 1973 Venice Biennale, of which he was one of the coordinators, he enters the "radical" area and participates in the foundation of the "Global Tools ', in the than the theme of the 'body'. From 1975 to 1977 he was secretary - coordinator of the section of visual arts and architecture at the Venice Biennale (Europe-America). As well as being a critic - among the many writings of those years Radical Story (1973), and the Vienna Orchestra (1974) -, deals in the 70s with Controdesign, trivial design, and the relativity of language.
