Marcello Ziliani

Marcello Ziliani was born in Brescia on February 20, 1963 under the sign of Pisces. After the scientific baccalaureate, he obtained a degree in Architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1988, presenting as a thesis (rapporteur Achille Castiglioni) the industrial design project for a ladder. He is currently the owner of Studio Zetass, an integrated structure that deals with product design, graphic design, engineering and installations in collaboration with qualified professionals (both internal and external) highly experienced in the sectors of specific competence. Marco Ziliani works both nationally and internationally in collaboration with leading companies, also offering advisory services to multinational groups. He has collaborated with Flos since 1994, for whom he has designed the Sally, Piperita and Schroeder wall lamp collections and the “Wings & Flaps” models, also wall lamps, for the US market. Marcello Ziliani is a founding member of "ABC - Incontri sul progetto", a Milan-based cultural association that has organized meetings and events on the theme of design. Since 1993 he has also worked in the academic field teaching in the graphic arts sector. He has participated in shows and exhibitions (bathroom without borders - the pride of the project - design under 35 - food signs) and has been a member of the jury in numerous competitions. Among the many awards received, the five selections for the Compasso d'Oro (three times as Studio Zetass) and the “Top Ten Award” are remembered. From 1997 to 1999 he was Art Director for Salviati.
