Edward van Vliet After his graduation from the Eindhoven Design Academy in 1989 - Edward belongs to the famous generation of Dutch designers who have been making an international sensation for many years - he started in 1991 mainly to design patterns and product designs. With his own design studio Edward van Vliet now works on various projects in the areas of product, textile and interior design for both national and international clients. It focuses mainly on the hospitality sector, offices, private homes and public spaces. Edward van Vliet translates his vision, creativity and years of experience into unique (interior) concepts where he combines three-dimensional lighting and furniture designs with two-dimensional patterns, prints and graphics featuring layers, fabrics and colours. Edward makes his designs powerful and surprising by the application of contrasting materials and different patterns. Edward's designs are easily recognizable by a blend of traditional western design influences, high-tech elements and natural materials finished to the latest production techniques.
