Paola Monaco di Arianello

Paola Monaco di Arianello is an industrial designer based in Milan, Italy. He studied Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa (Italy) and at the University of Lapland - Lapin yliopisto (Faculty of Art and Design) in Rovaniemi, before specializing in 2009 at the Politecnico di Milano. Since 2008 he has collaborated with the architect Carlotta de Bevilacqua, with whom he develops various projects in the field of lighting design. At the Carlotta de Bevilacqua Architecture Studio she is responsible for product conception, technical development and communication. During these years, he focuses on the study of light: his design is inspired by fundamental values such as clarity, simplicity, concreteness and quality. As author of Paola di Arianello she of several projects for Artemide such as:. "Algorithm System", "37Cube", "Mirror ID", and "Airlite" presented at Light and Building 2012 With "Algorithm" in 2011 he got the red dot Design Award. His new products for Artemide , "Empatia", "Diaphrarm", "floor Algorithm", "Algorithm dark LED light", and the extension of "Airlite" place family, have been presented at Euroluce 2013.
